The Declining Value of West Hills Homes

West Hills is a city located in Los Angeles County, California. The population was estimated to be around 38,000 as of the 2010 census. West Hills is bordered by the city of Los Angeles on the north and east, Agoura Hills on the south, and Calabasas on the west.

The history of West Hills can be traced back to 1887 when it was part of the Rancho San Fernando land grant given to José Sepulveda. In 1906, developer A. W. Ross purchased 1,200 acres of this land and began developing it into a residential area for wealthy Angelenos. The first houses were built in 1907 and by 1911 there were already 1,500 residents living in West Hills.

In 1928, Paramount Pictures built its Hollywood studios on part of Ross's property and started hiring many people from West Hills to work there. This led to an increase in demand for housing in West Hills and by 1930 there were 4,000 residents living there. In 1941 Warner Bros. also moved its operations into West Hills and this led to even more growth for the city. By 1960 there were over 10,000 residents living in West Hills and it had become one of the most popular areas in Los Angeles County.

Since then,West hills has continued to grow as a residential area with many new homes being built each year. Today,West hills is home to many well-known celebrities including Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey, Diane Keaton and Jerry Seinfeld among others
