Downers Grove, IL

Downers Grove is a city located in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 59,685. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Downers Grove was founded in 1837 and was originally called Westville. The name Downers Grove was given to the town by an early settler who liked the look of the valley below. The first business in Downers Grove was a store operated by Joseph Downer.

Today, Downers Grove is home to many businesses and attractions that make it a desirable place to live and work.
