Lake Forest is a city located in Lake County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 50,890. It is one of the fastest-growing cities in Illinois and has been ranked as one of the best places to live in America by Forbes magazine. The city is home to many high-end residential neighborhoods and several large shopping malls.
