Eckerman, MI

Eckerman is a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with a population of just over 1,000 people. The town is located in the northwest corner of Alger County and is bordered by the towns of Gaylord to the north, Iron Mountain to the east, and Houghton to the south. Eckerman has a warm climate with long summers and short winters. The town is well known for its apple orchards which produce some of the best apples in Michigan.
