Rockaway's Home Prices Continue to Rise

Rockaway is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 9,827,[10][11] reflecting an increase of 636 (+5.4%) from the 8,912 counted in the 2000 Census,[12] which had in turn increased by 1,724 (+14.1%) from the 7,664 counted in the 1990 Census.[13]

The borough borders Neptune City and Middletown Township to the north; Long Branch to the east; and Asbury Park and Seaside Heights to the south and west respectively.[16][17][18][19][20] The eastern border with Neptune City follows Bay Avenue while that with Middletown Township follows Kennedy Boulevard.[21][22] The western border with Asbury Park follows Ocean Avenue while that with Seaside Heights runs along Beach Haven Boulevard.[23][24] The southern border is formed by Sandy Hook Bay[25], which separates Rockaway from Margate City[26].
