West Middlesex is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 9,836 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Reading metropolitan area.

The borough was founded in 1798 and named for Middlesex County, England. The borough's first settler was Ebenezer Haines who built a home on what is now known as Haines Hill in 1798. In 1802, James Campbell purchased land from Ebenezer Haines and built a mill on the site of what would become Campbell's Mill Historic District. The borough's first schoolhouse was erected in 1810 on land donated by James Campbell. West Middlesex became an incorporated borough in 1892 and had its own police force until 1967 when it merged with neighboring Spring Township to form the present-day municipality of West Middlesex Township which continues to provide law enforcement services to the borough today.
