Leonard, TX is a small town located in the Texas Hill Country. The population of Leonard was just over 2,000 as of the 2010 census. The town is located in Williamson County and is bordered by Lampasas to the north, Burnet to the east, and Marble Falls to the south.

The history of Leonard dates back to 1853 when a group of settlers arrived in what would become known as Leonard. At that time, the area was known as "Piney Woods."
