Redlands, CA

Redlands, California is a city located in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. The population was estimated to be around 210,000 in 2016. Redlands is known for its warm weather and fertile soil, which has made it a popular location for agriculture and real estate development.

The city's history can be traced back to 1857 when John Gately acquired 640 acres of land in the area that would become Redlands. The town officially incorporated on February 17, 1888. The first major development in the area occurred with the construction of the San Bernardino and Arizona Railroad line through town in 1887.
