Pomona is a town in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the town's population was 9,521,[8][9] reflecting an increase of 546 (+5.4%) from the 8,711 counted in the 2000 Census.[10]

The town was formed on March 11, 1894 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature from portions of Morristown Township and Mount Olive Township.[11] Pomona is named for Pomona Springs (now part of Chatham), in Los Angeles County, California.[12][13] The Spring Brook Presbyterian Church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
