As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 10,898, reflecting an increase of 1,527 (+15.3%) from the 9,664 counted in the 2000 Census. Rochelle Park was formed as a result of the merger of Rochelle and Park Ridge on March 3, 1956.
The borough is located in northern Bergen County and is bordered by Paramus to the south and east; Englewood Cliffs to the north; and Union City to the west. The Hackensack River forms its eastern boundary with Union City.
