Clinton Township, MI

Clinton Township is a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. The township was founded in 1806 and named for DeWitt Clinton, the first governor of New York. As of the 2010 census, the township had a population of 112,814.

Clinton Township is home to many large businesses and corporations including Ford Motor Company's Michigan Assembly Plant, General Motors' Warren Transmission Plant and Cadillac's Sterling Heights Assembly Plant. The township also has a number of smaller businesses that provide services to these larger companies. In addition to these large businesses, Clinton Township is also home to a number of residential neighborhoods and single-family homes.
