East Hanover, NJ

East Hanover is a borough in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 9,812,[10][11] reflecting an increase of 511 (+5.4%) from the 8,764 counted in the 2000 Census,[12] which had in turn increased by 1,948 (+15.2%) from the 7,636 counted in the 1990 Census.[13]

According to the United States Census Bureau, East Hanover has a total area of 2.3 square miles (5.9 km2), all of it land.[15]

The borough borders West Orange Township and Livingston Township to the north; Morris Plains to the east; and Roseland and Florham Park to the south and west respectively.[16][17][18][19][20] The Passaic River forms its eastern border with Roseland while its western border is formed by Route 10.[21] Interstate 80 runs through East Hanover as well as providing access to Newark Airport via Exit 15A on Route 10.[22] NJ Transit provides bus service between Newark Penn Station and East Hanover on routes 903[23], 905[24], 906[25], 907[26], 808,[27], 809,[28], 810,[29], 811,[30]; and train service on routes E-train - Newark Broad Street Line (via Secaucus Junction) [31]; North Jersey Coast Line - Morristown Line [32]; Montclair- Boonton Line [33]; Eastern Division - Main Line [34].
